This weekend, two of our Intercon staff will be helping with a community collection event.
Anyone who lives in the Tampa Area can come to our event and recycle their electronics at no charge!

This weekend Intercon was at the NAID AAA Data Destruction conference in Orlando, Florida. People sometimes forget the amount of information that is accessible on your old computers, fax machines, and copiers.
Remember folks, take extra precautions to protect your identity! Intercon is the largest NAID AAA certified E-Waste recycling company in North America, trust in the best.
We have 2 collection events happening in the next two months! The first one is April 2, it will be hosted by Abby Allison with the Country Place Community Association, and the second one is going to be held during the 5k walk/run at Innisbrook Country Club on May 7th.
Today, someone called in to recycle a trunk load of Styrofoam here at the Tampa Office. She was very relieved to get rid of her packaging materials, some of it she claimed had been in her garage for ten years!
While it may not be a large load, every bit helps!
This weekend I helped with a garage sale which had a few electronic items for sale. Not all the electronics sold so the couple hosting the garage sale gave them to me to recycle. It wasn’t a lot of items but it was good thinking by them to recycle the items instead of trashing them.
A company out of Texas contacted us today to recycle over 10,000 lbs of electronics! We’ll make sure these are picked up and recycled properly.
Had a call come in today regarding a e-waste collection event in Georgia. Earth Day is coming up and we are looking forward to partnering with organizations all across the US for collection events. Keep electronics out of landfills!
Had a client call into the office today looking to stop landfilling their PVC materials. The landfill and waste service provider will charge you to landfill it. Why not recycle it properly instead? Going to find a great affordable solution for all of their PVC materials.
